Leah

Deb and I are ecstatic to to announce the birth of our daughter! Leah Soraya Eckmier was born on Wednesday, September 10, 2008 at 2:28 am; 6 lbs, 9 oz of pure beauty and grace. Mom & Baby are doing great, and we’re all excited to be home. We’re thanking God for Leah’s safe arrival and the incredible gift and blessing He has given us.

After 9 months of preparation, anticipation, appointments, ultrasounds and baby showers, it is amazing to finally come face to face with such a beautiful creation. Becoming a father is the most incredible feeling I have ever experienced, and every time this princess looks at me, I melt all over again.

Welcome to the world Leah, you are truly amazing!

Congratulations! She is beautiful. Is there any significance to her name (family name, etc)?

Your life has, officially, taken on a new direction and meaning. Fatherhood is the best, even when it gets really tough. Seems like only yesterday our two kids were born ~sniff.
