NFL Week 11 Predictions

NFL Logo I’m a little later this week than usual and I could blame it on the euphoria from finally breaking out of my 9-5 trend last week… but really, it’s just that I’ve been super busy and I ran out of time to get this done yesterday. So, let’s get right to my picks for week 11:

Away Home Comments Pick Result
Last week: 10-4 (71.4%), Season total: 97-47 (67.4%)
New York Jets Logo Jets
(6-3)
New England Patriots Logo Patriots
(6-3)
I think the Jets are starting to fire on all cylinders… still, this will probably be very close. New York Jets Logo New York Jets Logo
Philadelphia Eagles Logo Eagles
(5-4)
Cincinnati Bengals Logo Bengals
(1-8)
Eagles. Period. Philadelphia Eagles Logo Eagles/Bengals Tie Logo
Tennessee Titans Logo Titans
(9-0)
Jacksonville Jaguars Logo Jaguars
(4-5)
The Jags have disappointed this season, and I can’t pick against an unbeaten this late in the season. Tennessee Titans Logo Tennessee Titans Logo
Detroit Lions Logo Lions
(0-9)
Carolina Panthers Logo Panthers
(7-2)
Is there any doubt? Carolina Panthers Logo Carolina Panthers Logo
Denver Broncos Logo Broncos
(5-4)
Atlanta Falcons Logo Falcons
(6-3)
The Falcons have been pretty good at home so far, and the Broncos are another team that has really taken a step back this season. Atlanta Falcons Logo Denver Broncos Logo
Oakland Raiders Logo Raiders
(2-7)
Miami Dolphins Logo Dolphins
(5-4)
Week 11 and the Dolphins are still in playoff contention. Impressive for a team that finished 1-15 last year. Miami Dolphins Logo Miami Dolphins Logo
Houston Texans Logo Texans
(3-6)
Indianapolis Colts Logo Colts
(5-4)
The Colts look like they’re back on track. Houston still isn’t there. Indianapolis Colts Logo Indianapolis Colts Logo
New Orleans Saints Logo Saints
(4-5)
Kansas City Chiefs Logo Chiefs
(1-8)
The Saint usually don’t work out for me, but the Chiefs aren’t a safe bet either. New Orleans Saints Logo New Orleans Saints Logo
Chicago Bears Logo Bears
(5-4)
Green Bay Packers Logo Packers
(4-5)
Must win for Green Bay. Green Bay Packers Logo Green Bay Packers Logo
Minnesota Vikings Logo Vikings
(5-4)
Tampa Bay Buccaneers Logo Buccaneers
(6-3)
This might be tight, but I’ll go with Tampa. Tampa Bay Buccaneers Logo Tampa Bay Buccaneers Logo
Baltimore Ravens Logo Ravens
(6-3)
New York Giants Logo Giants
(8-1)
This should be a great game in which the Giants have the edge. New York Giants Logo New York Giants Logo
St. Louis Rams Logo Rams
(2-7)
San Francisco 49ers Logo 49ers
(2-7)
They almost beat the Cardinals last week, which makes me think the 49ers might have enough to top the Rams. San Francisco 49ers Logo San Francisco 49ers Logo
Arizona Cardinals Logo Cardinals
(6-3)
Seattle Seahawks Logo Seahawks
(2-7)
I don’t think Matt Hasselbeck can save the Seahawks season. Arizona Cardinals Logo Arizona Cardinals Logo
San Diego Chargers Logo Chargers
(4-5)
Pittsburgh Steelers Logo Steelers
(6-3)
San Diego just doesn’t play consistently enough to make me pick them against the Steelers. Pittsburgh Steelers Logo Pittsburgh Steelers Logo
Dallas Cowboys Logo Cowboys
(5-4)
Washington Redskins Logo Redskins
(6-3)
With Tony Romo back, the ‘Boys are a much better team than they are without him. Dallas Cowboys Logo Dallas Cowboys Logo
Cleveland Browns Logo Browns
(3-6)
Buffalo Bills Logo Bills
(5-4)
The Bills have regressed recently but a loss to the Browns would make things a lot worse by putting a playoff spot almost out of reach. Buffalo Bills Logo Cleveland Browns Logo

The bye weeks are over, which means there’s no way that I’ll finish 9-5 this week… hopefully the additional games will both be wins. See also: ESPN’s Expert Picks.

My only opposing pick this week to yours is I actually chose KC over New Orleans. I usually DON’T pick KC as a rule but NO is not that great of a team and KC can be hard to be at home. I was also impressed at how well they played at San Diego last week. (Not that SD is that great but still better than NO anyways)

I was so glad to see that the Jets beat out NE last night. I really like both teams but without Brady I had to go with Farve. I am glad he is doing well with the Jets.

@Tracy: I’m also glad that Favre is doing well in New York. What a great game that was on Thursday!

    Jonathan-
I didn’t post my picks last week but I was 12-1 last week and actually won the pool I was in! YIPEE!
The only pick I got wrong was thinking Detroit could win one. ha ha! I am hoping I am not making a similar mistake by picking KC this week. :)
I just HAVE to believe KC is not THAT bad. LOL! Although if KC loses this week I will have a really hard time picking them again this season…

I can’t believe I thought KC could WIN any game… UGH! Looks like you did great this week though Jonathan!
