NFL Week 13 Predictions
November 27, 2007, 9:00 AM | 3 Comments
Well, if all goes as planned, this post will go live at 9:00 AM on Tuesday, November 27th, but I’ll let you in on a little secret – I wrote this last week after the Thanksgiving day games. This week I’m on vacation and can’t guarantee that I’ll be near a computer, so I figured I’d write this ahead of time and let my site work its magic.
What that means is that only 6 teams (The Packers, Lions, Cowboys, Jets, Colts and Falcons) will have up-to-date standings beside their names and that week 12’s results (for the most part) won’t play into my analysis for week 13 games. Yes, it adds a degree of difficulty to pick the games this far ahead of time without regard to last week’s happenings or the latest injury news, but hey, that’s all part of the fun! What’s important is that just like every other Tuesday, there’s something here for you to read this week! I hope you appeciate my dedication… ;)

There, that was much better! Last week I ended up going 13-3, which was a vast improvement over the week before. Most of the teams that should have won actually won their games, with the exception of the Steelers who lost to the 1-8 Jets. Yeah… ouch.
This week brings us a very short amount of down-time with the three Thanksgiving games on Thursday. Only 2 days between games taking place? Yeah, I can handle that! My apologies that I couldn’t get my picks out any earlier this week in light of Thursday’s games, but it’s just been too busy for that. Speaking of Thanksgiving, to all the US readers out there, have a happy and safe one and enjoy the time off!
NFL Week 11 Predictions

Wow, last week was just nuts! It seems like there are a lot of anemic offenses in the NFL this season. San Francisco, Miami, Oakland, Minnesota, Baltimore and Tennessee to name a few. Last week was a perfect illustration culminated by a horrible performance by the 49ers on Monday Night Football.
I promised I’d focus on the positive this week though, so my poll this week will ask the question of who you think is the biggest (and most pleasant) surprise of this 2007-2008 season. For me, it’s got to be the Packers because no one expected them to be this good. I figured this season would be a bit better than last year, but in no way did I think that by week 11 the Packers would be sharing the lead in the NFC at 8-1. It’s been a pretty impressive year for Brett Favre and the Green Bay Packers.
NFL Week 10 Predictions

With week 10 of the NFL season upon us, now is a fitting time for some reflection and at this point in the year I like to start taking some polls to find out how people have seen things. Each team has played at least half of their schedule and has given us a fairly good idea of where they stand. Yes, there are still a lot of downs left to be played and some teams will have opportunities to turn it around, but now is as good a time as any to start discussing opinions.
